I’m a graduate in nursing at the Queensland University of Technology (2020. I have demonstrated experience in nursing tutoring at university for both clinical and communication skills and preparation for job application.

  • Coordinated and facilitated a peer program that assists international nursing students with language and communication skills, placement and career preparation.

  • Runs a weekly 1.5-hour session via chats and face-to-face tutorials.

  • Liaised with staff from the QUT Careers team, and academics from the School of Nursing to plan, promote and create the support to peers.

  • Attended up to two weekly sessions to assist nursing students with their clinical skills: wound care, parenteral medication preparation and administration, vital signs, patient assessment, NGT and IDC insertion, ECG placement, etc.

  • Assist elementary school students with homework and reading exercises. The program takes place after school hour, which usually involves approximately 20 students. Students come from diverse backgrounds and educational levels.
